OK.so I have a cousin who nearly died whole giving birth. On top of that her daughter nearly died too. Both spent a month in hospital with it being touch and go for a while.

Then surprise exactly 9 months after the birth day of the daughter my cousin gives birth again. Again nearly dying in the process, with the second daughter thankfully ok. The husband literally had unprotected sex with his wife who could of died IN HOSPITAL.

Here is where I ask if I'm the a-hole. At a family event not long after the second birth family were congratulating them. I'll admit I'm the black sheep feminist in the family. Always have been. It's a family of women need to birth from the moment they get their first period. And God forbid she have an education past primary school. And I'm the childless degree having harpy. Anyway, usually I keep my mouth shut to avoid arguments. But they kept joking about him having sex with her whole deathly ill, "haha you guys couldn't wait" sort of stuff. She even said she didn't want to but felt she had to. Eventually after so many hours of this I cracked and said how can anyone celebrate the sexual assault and rape of a family member while her and her daughter were on deaths door and stormed out the party. I've now been getting comments how I'm evil and an arsehole and don't understand men's needs.

I feel like I going mad or from a parallel universe. Am I the a hole
