I (F33) have a flatmate (F25) who appears to have a really bad feminine hygiene problem. There is clearly something going on down there, and it doesn’t help that she showers maybe a couple times a week, doesn’t really use soap (she’s mildly on the spectrum) and it gets a lot worse when it’s that time of the month - like to the point where even an hour after she’s used the bathroom the smell is so bad I start retching. I feel really bad because she is such a lovely girl, but it’s also concerning, and it’s at the point where my other flatmate is completely disgusted by her, and we’re sick of constantly having to put up with such a consistently foul smell in our bathroom (I know it’s a bathroom, but still) - I want to sit her down and talk to her but I feel like I shouldn’t? Can I bring it up with her?
