I'll keep this short. One of my coworkers asked me what my favorite animal was and I said "c00ns." They all went on to tell me how offensive of a word that is. I obviously didn't know or else I wouldn't have said it. Somehow word got back to the owner and she pulled me into her office for a chat. I decided not to mention the fact that one of the managers that works there has openly said the n word multiple times. And here's the kicker: nobody that works there is black, so I'm not exactly sure who I'd be offending. Of course now that I know, I don't plan on saying it again. AITAH?
