📝 AITAH for wearing a tan suit to my buddy's wedding.

Title says it all. Wedding is in the South in the summer - it's going to be outrageously hot. I proactively asked the bridge/groom for specific guidance on their preferred suit / color a month ago. They said "nothing flashy" but otherwise did not provide me with a specific suit/color to purchase or wear. The wedding is in 6 weeks.

I bought a tan/beige suit for the event. Got it tailored, so I cannot return it. Fast forward to today, the bride is having a meltdown over my suit color and her brother is sending me passive aggressive texts about "getting my suit approved" beforehand.

Suit cost $2k. I am not buying another one. As far as I'm concerned, they had their opportunity to tell me what to buy, missed it, and now have to live with the situation.

Here is the link to the suit (since I can't post a picture). On the website it looks white, but in person is very much not white.
