So when I (16 f) returned home from school today, our neighborhood's famous alcoholic was passed out on my house's porch. At first, I politely asked him to move but he wouldn't budge, so I called my mom who also tried poliety to get him to move but instead he just stared at my mom in a really creepy way and it weirded me out, though I didn't say anything. Then again my mom asked him in a slightly raised tone, but this time he was about to say something but stopped and continued staring, I finally snapped and screamed at him "Will you stop fucking staring and move?" After that, he finally did.

My aunt was seeing all of it from the window who then came out and yelled at me for screaming because "I'm a woman and I shouldn't scream at men" I tried defending myself but my mom also took her side and said things could've been done in a more polite way. So now I'm left wondering if I was really the AH.
