This is a very close friend of mine, probably the closest. We've known each other from first grade, and along with another friend we have kept this three-person friend group ever since. Suddenly, he wants to end the friendship between us two, here's the situation:

He really really likes a girl, who already friendzoned him once but he's still trying anyway that's not important. I know this girl, obviously not as much as him but I know her a bit and she knows me a bit, and I recently gave her follow on instagram, wich she accepted deliberately, because her account is private. Now he's telling me to unfollow her because he finds it disrespectful that I'm following a girl he likes. I told him like dude, she herself accepted the follow, that's her decision, not yours, and he said that as a friend he's asking me to unfollow her. I even asked a friend (wich the this friend knows and really likes him no homo) what he thinks of this situation and he said that it's alright himself. Then we got into this word fight (through text) and then he wrote a long ass message about how he doesn't like how I act in general and that he wants me to change my behaviour otherwise he would end the friendship. I asked him what behaviour other than this is so major and his only argument was that basically he over the past few months sent some one-view photos to the groupchat but I managed to store them and have them in my phone. I didn't do anything with the photos, didn't send them anywhere or anything, all we did was at the sleepover I pulled it up and we laughed about it, except him. (Keep in mind that the people at this sleepover are us, the same people in the group chat so it's the same poeple seeing the photo.)

So now he is threatening to kill our friendship for stuff like this, but to me these feel like really small and harmless things.

Am I the asshole?
