EXTRA INFO:I am homeschooled,my mom isn’t home,and I’m babysitting my siblings and new puppy…..I stay at home with my siblings a lot multiple times a week it always goes well we’ve never had any issues,but today I was babysitting my siblings and our new puppy.The puppy is really sweet,but she obviously has a lot of energy.I was trying to do my schoolwork so I couldn’t watch her as closely as I should.She was in my room for most of the day,but she was barking and wanted to leav my room so I let her she went to the dinning room where my siblings are doing school which is right beside my room.So I didn’t think much of it I thought my siblings would keep an eye on her.She ate a silica gel packet.Which I have looked up and it doesn’t seem to be toxic but idk.Im worried about how my mom will react.She trusts me to watch over my siblings and the puppy,and now the puppy has ate something it shouldn’t have.I feel terrible.I should have paid more attention it’s just that I was trying to finish my schoolwork so I could pay more attention to the puppy.I just hope my mom doesnt chew me out to bad.I already know I screwed up.I just hope I don’t get in to much trouble even tho it was my fault.The puppy seems to be doing ok tho she has puked once but she’s puked a couple times since we got her so idk.Were taking her to the vet tomorrow anyway for her shots.My mom isn’t home yet so idk what I’ll tell her when she gets her I have already texted her.Sorry this is so long.
