i work full-time shifts and it’s exhausting. lately, i’ve been trying to grow on tiktok. i stream with a clean setup, makeup done, good energy, and i try to actually engage. but most of the time, i get ignored or trolled.

meanwhile, i see girls on camera just sitting there with soft music playing and a sign that says things like “kiss for a lion” and they’re getting flooded with gifts. they’re not really interacting or putting much effort in. i’m not trying to hate, but it’s hard watching people get praised and supported for doing less while i’m trying hard and getting nothing back.

i don’t think i’m mad at the girls directly. i think i’m just frustrated with how things work on that app. it feels like no matter how much effort i put in, i’m invisible.

am i the asshole for feeling this way?
