okay, for context, me and my ex broke up back on halloween. we’ve been seeing each other since a week after our breakup and we’re basically dating again but without the label. we constantly text everyday and we call each other at least 2-3 times a week. however, last week, i had a horrible week - i ended up having to work 70 hours and had several mental breakdowns because of the stress and other things going on in my life. i would text him to get my mind off of work and he wouldn’t respond for like 2 days. i asked him if he was okay and he just said “yes im just sleepy” but once sunday hit (5 days of him ghosting me on and off) and we hadn’t spoken on the phone in a week and he didn’t respond to 2/3 of my texts, i thought he might be seeing someone else even though he said he wasn’t about 5 months ago or he just simply didn’t care about me the way i care about him. he got mad at me when i asked if he was seeing anyone else, went off of on and told me he’s been “working his ass off at work to impress his bosses, working on his mental health and trying to adjust.” i told him i’d give him space on tuesday morning (4/1/24) but he hasn’t texted me since then. i don’t want to text him first to see how long it takes him to text me. but AMITAH? do i have the right to be mad that he didn’t prioritize me when i needed him but i always prioritize him when he needs me?
