So Gf (20F) and I(23M) have been seeing each other for almost 5 months. We met on hinge, after 2-3 weeks of seeing each other she asked me to be exclusive and I was really excited and agreed. I’m just getting into dating recently and have only gone out with 10 women(in span of 5-6 years, 6 being in past year) and was really happy when she asked to be exclusive, I wiped every women I had talked to on dating apps, deleted my accounts, unadded girls from Instagram and socials, went thru my photos and just purged my phone of women. I then asked if she was following any guys from her past and she said yes, which I was kinda confused about. After a month of dating I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said no, saying she had been hurt by other guys before and wanted to get to know me better before making that step. I was really hurt but understood and agreed. About 2-2.5 months later she asked me to be official and I agreed. Around this time I got dmed by the girl I was seeing before my gf and told the girlfriend immediately about the texts. I then asked her if she had ever been reached out by guys from her past. She told me there were 3-4 guys that reached out to her. One was 3 weeks into us dating(a guy she said was just a friend but I found out they went out for about a month) he asked if she wanted to go out and she told him about me and he told her to cheat on me, she said no. There were two other guys that asked if she was single and she said no and they left her alone. Another guy was a friend of hers and they tried dating freshmen yr and sophomore yr for a month or two but didn’t work out. I thought that it was really weird that these guys were reaching out to her asking her out and she wasn’t getting rid of their contacts or unfollowing them. I was really hurt after she told me about the guy that said to cheat on me and that she just saw him as a friend. I asked her to unadd these guys and she told me I was being insecure but she’ll do it if I want her to.

Before we went out she was talking to another guy on hinge who asked her out and she agreed to go on a date with him until he canceled saying he was depressed. She then went on a date with me and we started seeing each other. She talked about this guy before and I thought it was a year ago that they were talking but one day she told me that he asked if she was single and I found out he was the guy before me. I thought it was kinda strange that she had his contacts even though she was in a relationship and never even met this dude but she told him she had a boyfriend and he said ok. A month later he texted her again asking and she said she still had a boyfriend to which he responded “ok well let me know when you’re single, I can’t wait and hope it’s soon”. I blew up and got really mad at her for still having his contacts. She said he doesn’t matter to her and that she’s not texting him(which she wasn’t it was more replying to him). She said I was being insecure with asking her to unadd and delete contacts of dudes from her past but she deleted this guys contacts. We moved on and I thought he was in the past until yesterday when I found out that they both follow each other on instagram. I asked why she was following him and we got into another arguement. We talked for a while and she unfollowed him cause I wanted her to. She has gotten mad at me quite a bit for asking her to unadd these guys but I feel like I’m in the right. She even agreed that she shouldn’t have texted him back after he said he couldn’t wait for her to be single again but she got mad that I asked her to unfollow him. Am I the asshole?

Sorry if my story doesn’t make the most sense, it’s weird trying to type out everything. I trust my girlfriend and know she wouldn’t cheat on me with these guys. I think she just likes getting attention from ppl and that’s why she keeps these dudes around. I don’t think I’m the asshole for asking her to unfollow that last guy but if someone has another view on story I’d appreciate hearing it. If there’s any questions I’ll try to answer to clear up story.
