Help me out here. I'm a female who is going through a separation with my husband. I've been honest about everything with my husband. But last night I got drunk and one of our mutual friends gave me a ride home. He is going through something really similar to my situation.

We drank some vodka and had a philosophical conversation about life, grief and loss together. We just talked and it was good.

He was about to go home and gave me a hug. The hug didn't end. We just held each other for a long time. Neither of us wanted to go further but we both were starved for genuine human connection. So we just held each other again.

He went home because his wife was texting him (they are on the verge of separation as well).

Should I tell my husband? I have no want for anything sexual with this guy. Just holding each other was exactly what both of us needed. Should I feel bad this guy has a wife at home?
