ok, here's a hot take on Sylus from LADS. this might be outlandish and i don't know his full story but my theory is connected with the Elder Scrolls franchise by Bethesda.
so we know that Sylus was a dragon in his past life, right? a dragon with the ability to consume human souls, now who does that sound a lot like? Alduin. we all know Alduin, from the Elder Scrolls: V Skyrim game as the main antagonist and "first born of akatosh" told by parrthanaxx and who's ever defeated Alduin in sovngarde knows that the last dragonborn doesn't absorb his soul, many like to believe that the aspect of Akatosh recalled his soul to prevent his from returning, that's where Sylus comes in. Mabey, juuust maybe akatosh reincarnated Alduin into Sylus(possibly along with the help of Arkay), and since akatosh is also the god of time, he could've waited for a new world. Paarthurnax speaks about the inevitability of change and the potential for a new world to emerge which further makes my argument. one more thing, LOOK AT SYLUS'S DRAGON OUTFIT!!! IT VERY CLOSELY RESEMBLES ALDUIN. if you look at Sylus's dragon outfit (i don't really know what its called) it resembles the sharp, ridged look of Alduin's scales. the only thing about this theory is that there's no love interest of Alduin and the love interest of Sylus dragon killed him.
remember, this is a THEORY, i could be wrong, im probably wrong but i still like this theory (being a MASSIVE Skyrim and Elder Scrolls fan) and never really playing LADS. but hey this might be one of those MCU "what if..." sort of things but id love to hear your inputs and thoughts. 😊
