New here and I've never done this before but here goes:

I had a small argument with my co worker over WhatsApp, I had asked a question but then figured out the solution on my own so messaged them "You know what don't worry, I'll figure it out :)"

What happened next can only be described as a mind game of WTF... They sent back an angry response asking why I was being snappy, I tried to explain I wasn't being snappy but didn't want them to think I was ignoring them so sent a reply whilst doing 2 other things, lots of back and forths about how I was being a B*tch and giving attitude and me trying to explain I honestly wasn't.

4 days later, after apologising just to keep the peace and not fall out with said co worker it comes to light I made a small error on the system, I take responsibility and call the boss and tell them it's my fault so no one else gets blamed, they say all good and the day continues.

Turns out though that all of my remaining co workers are now mad at me, they've made a new group chat where I'm not added because they can't talk to me, I'm not allowed to contact them unless they contact me first and the co worker I had the argument with says we're not friends anymore but "we can try to become friends again one day"

I feel like I'm on trial for murder at this point and even though I've apologised I feel like this punishment they've dished out is a bit harsh so... Aita?

Edit: I realised I missed out a bit of information, it's a small team and HR is essentially what our regional manager is as well, he has said he will see if he can arrange a meeting but a transfer is not available at the moment.
