Am I the asshole?

This is mine and my husbands second Easter together and first Easter married. Well over a month ago I have committed to go to my family's Easter dinner on Easter Day. For Easter morning I had planned to cook breakfast for me and my husband and us go to our church. The week of Easter his family decided they were planning a Easter gathering the day of Easter and now he tells me he's not spending the day with me he's going to his family Easter instead including church. That I should cancel on my family whom I only see a few times a year and go with him. We were just out at his family's the whole weekend before this. I feel like he's telling me my plans don't matter and I need to change them or spend Easter without him and that he's prioritizing his family who planned last minute over me. Am I wrong for being so hurt.
