Hi everyone, I need some advice about something that happened to me. I can’t talk to anyone close to me about it, so here I am. I’m a 20F, and I have a 19F cousin who’s very close to me. She’s married to a 24M, who also happens to be my older brother’s best friend. They have a 5-year-old son together. Before they got together, her husband tried to hit on me. He even asked me to be his girlfriend, but I turned him down because I was really young and not interested and i never brought it up to anyone. A few months later, I moved to the city to study and only came home during holidays and heard that my 13 years old cousin was pregnant with the same man who tried to be with me. Six months ago, I moved back home and have been living here since and recently, we had a party to celebrate something, and everyone got wasted, including my cousin and her husband. I didn’t drink much because I don’t like getting drunk like everyone else. After the party, we all went home. I was minding my own business when someone came into my room. I didn’t think much of it because I share the room with my sister and assumed it was her. I was lying on the bed, facing the wall, when suddenly someone lay down next to me, put their head on my neck, started sniffing me, and grabbed my bum. I was terrified. I pushed them away and realized it was my cousin’s husband. He asked me what I was doing alone and said he liked me a lot. I was so scared I almost cried, but I managed to kick him out of the room. That was a few days ago, and now I don’t know if I should tell my cousin. I’m afraid it might ruin their family and my relationship with her. I’ve decided to move back to the city because of this incident. I also forgot to mention that my cousin had her son when she was 14—she got pregnant at 13, and her husband was 18 at the time.
