📝 (NSFW?) AITA for asking for sex?

My wife (29F) and I (30M) have been married for about 7 years. She's currently in school, but will graduate soon and I work full time. We have a child together, so that can make it hard to find time to see each other.

My love language is physical touch, but it's not my wife's. I've had this talk with her so she knows it's my love language, but when I bring it up, she says that I should be looking for it in other places and other people instead of just sex. While I can agree with her, I am still having a hard time finding our connection when it's not her love language.

I'm finding it hard to go without sex, which might just make me sound like a cry baby, but when we're together, it just feels like we're connecting differently. Also, doing it alone just isn't the same and I'm craving her body. That might not be her experience, though.

Whenever she asks for something, I don't usually say no. Lately, whenever our kid is asleep, I will ask if she can help me out. I don't ask every night, maybe once a month. I don't even necessarily need full on sex, but she still says no. I've tried initiating in different ways, including the way that she does it, but she still pushes me away or says no. I always feel like an ahole for asking or initiating when she declines.

AITAH? First time poster ever, so if I missed a detail or something, let me know. Thanks.
