I (32f) have a 10 year old boy that is the most amazing kid ever! Loves being outside and fishing. He is the kid that I feel anyone could hope for! My fiancé (28m) has always had a problem with alcohol. I also do too but,, I mostly don’t drink until my kid is in bed or at his fathers for the weekend, then we go buck wild sometimes.. my fiancé cracks a beer before we take our oldest to school.. I know that he is 100% fine to drive but it is so annoying for me. His mother is an alcoholic in recovery but has always hammered into him that he could have seizures from withdrawal, which I know that is very possible but he is so paranoid that is for sure going to happen if he REALLY slows down so it has been so difficult.. we also lost our 10 month old boy in the middle of the last summer, which I know really set all three of us back so far.. then my sister had her first boy, after 3 girls, and I’ve had to force myself to hold that sweet boy but it is so bitter sweet.. I mostly just needed to vent, but I’m really having a hard time on how to address this drinking issue..
