I posted a story yesterday on this subreddit, asking if I was TA for wanting my boyfriend to sever contact with a female friend of his who makes me uncomfortable.

I have now learned that they were intimately involved in the past many times before we were dating. He admitted that for a time he had feelings for her. Before this situation occurred, I had asked him 3 times prior to only limit contact with her; however, he didn’t listen and i’ve communicated how the double standard that he’s applying to our relationship makes me feel upset. I communicated that my trust in him is waning, as it took 6 months for him to open up about the extent of his relationship with this girl. Is it possible for us to rebuild our relationship? Am I TA?
