UPDATE!! Evan was arrested at my wedding. So some more things that have happened since the original post. My parents made it seem like I didn't have an opinion on whether Evan was allowed to come to the wedding. My father being a drama queen said he wouldn't come either if I didn't have Evan there AND did the classic "what would people say" line to guilt me into letting him come. My parents and I made a deal that they had to babysit Evan to make sure nothing happened. Guess what didn't happen... Surprise... They didn't babysit him. Bobby (now husband ;)) and I literally made it though the whole night with no issues! As soon as the reception was over, Bobby's friend Daniel ran up to me and said "I think your brother hit a girl". Annoyed, I got Tim and my parents and went outside to see what was happening. I saw my cousin on the ground crying and Evan standing over her berating her and just being a dck. Tim went to hold my cousin and help make her feel safe and my parents tried to calm Evan down from his manic episode. So I ran back inside and got the manager of the catering place (I had warned him that something might happen) and came back outside. When I did, I saw Bobby's uncle trying to restrain Evan and holding him on the ground. Evan was screaming and cursing and I started sobbing. Two of Bobby's aunt's took me back inside and told me that I shouldn't be seeing this. So I waited inside and Tim came running in saying that Evan is being arrested. He also told me that Evan had clawed the sht out of Bobby's uncle's face and that his whole face was bloody. Tim later told me that Evan had pushed my mom onto the ground and she hit her head and was pushing my dad and that was the reason why Bobby's uncle got involved. Bobby's uncle is now pressing charges against Evan for assult and has a restraining order. Evan spent the night in jail but is home now acting like he did nothing wrong and didn't ruin my wedding. Bobby and I are unfortunately living in the house with Evan because we don't have enough saved to move out. It's been a rough few weeks and I am heartbroken that my brother had to make my wedding about himself. I'm really trying not to think about the bad that happened since the whole night before this incident was lovely but yk trauma.
