Hey again- Just wanted to give an update on a post I made a bit ago about the whole mess involving Beverly, Kyle, and the friend group that ghosted me during the drama.

So… I actually managed to track down one of our old friends and had a real conversation about it all. And wow.

Apparently, yeah—Beverly and Kyle kind of blew things out of proportion. According to this friend, Kyle still genuinely believes Beverly was sober and that DCF was lying about the drug use, even though everyone in town had seen her using and I literally found her stash. Like… Kyle wasn’t being malicious, he was just deep in the delulu. He loved her, he’s got a big heart, and he thought I was just making stuff up. It still hurts, but I kinda get it now.

As for Beverly—she was lying about the drugs. That much is now clear. But fast forward to now: she’s married to a guy three times her age (Im all for consensual age gap relationships but shes 26 he's 85???) but apparently she’s sober and happy so honestly good for her 🤷‍♀️ Her daughter is being raised by the biological dad (after 13 paternity tests because the other 12 men she slept with that month all dipped out). Messy? Absolutely. But I guess it worked out in a weird, twisted way.

Now, about those “friends”… yeah, you were right. The one I talked to admitted that they all backed out and made a separate group chat without me because they didn’t want to actually confront Beverly or Kyle. They felt like I was “too involved” since Beverly and I had a long history and similar traumas growing up, so instead of being honest, they just left me out and gossiped behind everyone’s backs.

I’m not bitter—honestly. Nothing but love and well wishes to all of them. But yeah, losing people you love over stupid bullshit always hurts. Still, at least I finally got some closure. Life is weird, people are messy, and sometimes that’s just how the story goes. Thanks to everyone who supported me by messaging me kind words of encouragement and valiation or similar experiences from my last post.—really helped me feel less all of this.
