What can I say about this app. Spothero.. Just got off the phone with their customer service and I was told that even though I filled out the vehicle registration on the website correctly they were not gonna release my vehicle until I paid almost double the price to get my car back on a horrible rainy nite, I had registered my car and paid through the app. from 4pm to 2 am at parking lot located at 411 west 23 st. In n.y.c to celebrate my better half birthday nite got to the lot at 430pm and was told that the lot closed at 12am on the dot. That was the first hit then when I returned to the lot extra early at approx. I 10pm cutting the birthday girl celebration by 4 hrs early was told that even though I had provided the app the correct info and paid in advanced my vehicle was not being released (hostage) until I paid an extra $30. So I asked the attendant why the overcharge even though I did not lie about the size of my vehicle and he inform me that spot hero does this all the time for me just to call customer service and they will return the overcharge at which point I told him it's not about the money it's about the serious BAIT and SWITCH with the time and the OVERCHARGE OF NEARLY DOUBLE THE LISTED FEE!!!. Don't use this app or this parking lot.. They had me it's highway robbery.. Just deleted the app..
