📝 WIBTAH for asking for money to tutor my friends?

ok im using a burner bc i highkey feel really mean for this one. so, I'm in high school and I did pretty well on my SAT (not saying my score but its highly feasible I got the highest score in my testing center) and that too on my first try. i didn't mean for it to get out but it did (as things often do), and obviously people (including my friends) were asking me for tips.

duh, of course i would say yes. they're my friends?? and i would readily offer my help if someone complained about their sat score to me. like:

my friend: ugh i got a 1460 on my sat i've already taken it twice im cooked for college
me: i could help u if u want i did well on both sections

and everything would be fine! i wouldn't ask for anything in return because they're my friends and it's not like i have anything to lose - it's just helping peers yk??

here's the issue: one of my friends is particularly stressed out about their sat. they don't have poor stats, but for what they want to do and their college choices- well, they're struggling. i had already offered my help (free of charge) like ~5 times, and they had always agreed but never reached out to me, so i never pressed. recently, they talked to me about how their sat tutor isn't working out for them (this was right after i posted a study guide for our english final - we have ap tests coming up and i included tips for MCQ which would help for SAT and i said that too in the groupchat). i felt a bit miffed, so i said something along the lines of "oh well if only you had come to me for help" (i know). anyway they begged and i agreed (since again, i'm not really losing anything?) but I have so many finals and AP tests, and they're taking it in june. i'm not really sure how much help i can be, since they're aiming 1550+ (they're at mid 1400s rn) and i have barely a week after school ends to help them. i'm also really busy since i have other extracurriculars and internships.

i basically said that they owe me big time and i'm taking a huge IOU. i want to ask for other compensation, but im unsure if that would be an asshole-move. idk what to do :(

sorry if this is boring or unclear lol i'll answer any questions!
