Okay so I (18f) have been with my boyfriend (18m) for 2.5 years. we’ve had our ups and downs obviously but it was good when we moved in together. little things bothered me but just a few days ago my mother passed. he didn’t like her so i didn’t expect him to be upset. instead he’s been act like her sudden passing is a bother to him and acting like im not normal for being upset still (it’s been four days.) it started with him being annoyed i wasn’t paying attention to small talk in traffic on the way to the hospital. then he straight up told me he’s glad he can go home and play video games while im at the hospital because he just needs a break. he works at taco bell and his longest shifts are 8 hours and he usually works four days in a row. i work at a family owned restaurant and work 6 days 10 hours each day. it’s just a lot that had added up and he genuinely makes me feel like he hates me sometimes (prior to my mothers passing.) i just don’t know what to do and im moving back in with my dad to help around the house. what do i do? sorry if this is not coherent it’s eight am and im so sleepy.

edit: besides this we argue a lot and i do love him but i don’t think its worth the stress it’s putting on us both. i’m scared to be without him as we’ve been together so long and have lived together a few months now. he wants to come with me to my dads and my dad is okay with that. friends of his have asked me if im okay and if they can do anything for me and it’s just jarring to me that his friends seems to care more than he does? i don’t really know how to write so i might be all over the place lol. he also has completely changed what we both agreed we wanted in the future. we agreed we both wanted to be married within the next 5-6 years and possibly have children. he has decided he doesn’t want to get married until he’s thirty and he’s thinking about a vasectomy. i just think now that we both want completely different things that it’ll end anyway just in the future.
