I needed a pretty complex travel plan, and I couldn't be bothered with the admin so I went to a travel agent. Initially it was supposed to be done in a few days, I then went back when he said it would be done and it hadn't, and it got pushed out another week, so I was already a little frustrated (the guy was nice atleast)

I got the quote emailed last night and was about double my realistic budget. I got quoted almost 15k for 16 flights or so. Some of these are to opposite sides of the world so I get it.But I did some digging (6 hours later) and I'd ended up booking my own trip for half of this amount.

Kind of just can't be bothered with it anymore? Don't want to deal with that situation. I didn't even book any of the same flights he had given me, it just seemed like the most expensive flights possible. WIBTAH for ghosting? I understand he did a lot of work but 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️
