So my husband has to go away for a few weeks for work next year. And he wants to take the opportunity to go to Universal by himself on a long weekend. I will be solo-parenting 2 under 3 years old while he’s gone. It’s really bothering me that he wants to go alone and use money that we could save for a family vacation. He is honestly so obsessed with Universal and they just opened the new park there so I get that he wants to take advantage of the time and go on a kid free vacation.

My gut is telling me to put my foot down and not let him go, FOMO/jealousy/bitterness because it’s already going to be so hard being by myself IYKYK. He has offered to let me spend the same amount of money to go on a solo vacation (I would never do that though because of our young kids) or buy something for myself which isn’t really my style either. Honestly, I’d rather just wait and go as a family. I’m so torn. So WIBTAH if I don’t let him go??
