We’ve been together for 15 years, she’s been raised in a protestant household. Sometimes she’s a lot into religion other times not so much, but she doesn’t give up trying to drag me to the church. I’ve already been a member of a few churches with her but I can’t stand the bullshit and all the hypocrisy, plus I just can’t bring myself to believe in a lot of stuff that comes with Christianity and the bible. I tried to reason with her saying that I have the right not to believe or believe in whatever I feel like the same way she has the right to believe in whatever she wants, but she says that as her husband I need to have the same belief as her and yada yada yada. I really like her but this BS really gets to me. At this moment I’m going to church against my will because it’s easter, because if I don’t, she’ll throw a tantrum. AITA?
