I (m27) and my partner (m27) have been together for about two years, our anniversary is coming up this month :D, but have been talking about our future for a while now. Neither of us want to rush into anything, but feel that the other should have an idea of what the other expects. When it came down to marriage, he wants a prenup. I get why, I can understand the concern but can't denied that it hurt. But this prenup from my eyes only protects his concerns, not mine. So would I be the AH if I kept every receipt after we move in, annotate every expense each other takes, and keep our finances separate just in case we divorce? Just to ensure that what he paid into the relationship is returned to him, and vice versa. I've been told this is an AH move but if he's prepping for divorce, why can't I?
