AITA for not telling my new girlfriend I’m married? I, (38M) left my wife (38F) after she cheated on me with my best friend (37M). She thinks I’m an absent husband, but I don’t think so. I moved across the country, and took my practice with me (I’m a surgeon) but we never officially signed divorce papers. While I moved there I had a one night stand with a woman (27F). After lots of convincing, she and I finally started dating. The other day, my wife came across the country to work at the same hospital as me! Now my girlfriend won’t talk to me, and walks away whenever I talk to her. My wife is also pissed.
