i (14f) didnt go to my best friends (15f) house the morning after we when to the carnival because i slept until two, i was going to spend the night with her but i was too tired so i said i would try and hang out with her the next day, i was staying with my aunt in the town my best friend lives in which is about an hour and a half from where i live, i didnt feel good after i woke up and my mom was already on the way to pick me up so i didnt end up seeing her. she got really upset and has stopped being my friend of five years and im crushed. so, AITA?

edit- my birthday is next week so it especially hurts because i wont have my best friend wishing me a happy birthday
