My parents 50M and 49F had 4 kids, I’m 18M

Because my parents had 4 kids they devised a set of rules for when we had access to things like the TV and Nintendo switch, we had to ask permission to use the tv and then we would get 2/3 hours of tv time for that day.

Yesterday I asked mum if I could watch tv and she said I could have it for 3 hours.

I had downloaded a movie the day before and was super excited to watch it, I put it on and about 30 minutes in dad comes out and decides to join me in watching it. I got another 30 minutes into the film before I decided to give up, the film was boring and so incredibly slow.

I switched the movie out for something else and without realising pissed off my dad, he told me he was watching that and when I told him I just wasn’t enjoying the film and didn’t want to waste my 3 hours watching something I disliked he got up and stormed off.

Dad does get the tv every night and often during the day when none of us are on it so he could have just watched it another time. Also I had originally asked him if he wanted to watch it with me and he said he wanted to read his book. He must have changed his mind.
