📝 AITA for asking them to replace the drink twice when "that’s really how it tastes?"

My girlfriend and I went to this café. I think we were their first customers that day. I got a vanilla latte and she got a strawberry yogurt latte. When she tried the strawberry yogurt latte, it tasted kinda weird. It was a bit sour, and she showed me it looked clumpy. I was thinking, maybe that’s just how it is since it’s yogurt, it’s supposed to be sour. But then she had me smell it, and I got convinced. It had this weird smell, kinda like bread, and the taste too. Not exactly like bread, but something close. I didn’t let her drink any more of it and just took it from her.

I brought the drink back to the counter. I said, “Can you check this? It tastes and smells kinda weird.” I asked if that’s how it’s really supposed to taste. I think they tasted it, I didn’t really see, but they apologized and said they’d replace it.

So they brought the new strawberry yogurt latte to our table. I tasted and smelled it, and it was the same. I was debating whether to bring it back again, because maybe that really is just how it’s supposed to taste. But the new one smelled and tasted exactly the same as the first.

It took me a while, but I went back again. I asked them to check it again. This time, they didn’t check it, but they told me, “Sir, that’s really how it tastes. We use powder, but our strawberries are fresh.”

So I just said, “Alright, thanks.” We stayed a bit longer, then left, and I still had the drink with me.

Now I’m wondering, maybe they only replaced it the first time out of courtesy. Am I the asshole for having them replace the drink twice, when maybe we just didn’t like the taste, and they had to shoulder the cost of the replacement?
