I (22M) have been dating my girlfriend (21F) for 5 years. We have a good relationship, but I’ve been dealing with something that I’m not sure if I’m overreacting about.

Before we got together, she hooked up with a guy a few times. He’s not someone she was serious with, but it’s still part of her past. The problem is—this guy is possibly getting drafted into the NFL this year. She hooked up with him and sent him nudes.

I’m worried that she might find out through social media, mutual friends, or just word getting around. If he does get drafted and becomes somewhat well-known, I’m afraid it’ll remind her of him and that will create some weird tension between us, or remind her or her friends about what she could’ve had or that she settled for someone not in the same shape as him or situation. It feels like her past might come back into the picture, and I don’t want that to catch either of us off guard.

I haven’t talked to her about this and I’m not sure if I should just bring it up to her or not.
