So my younger brother is getting married this year and having is bachelor party in June. His best man sent us all a group text a couple days ago with the itinerary. My brother wants to go golfing for the first day.

Problem is I can't golf. I took some lessons on high school but unfortunately my parents bought me clubs that never fit and no matter how much I tried to tell them that my instructor's from Nike golf camp said I needed new cluns they don't listen. So I gave up on it when I was 16. I'm 37 now.

I haven't been on a course since 2004. I brought this up with him. He suggested I should just sit in the cart. I really don't like the idea of just sitting in a golf cart and watching them play. And he said, "well this is what I want."

And I said okay fine and just left it at that. We just got on speaking terms after having a clash a couple weeks ago. This wedding is really stressing him out and I don't think he's thinking things through.

Idk what I'm supposed to do. I just don't see the appeal on sitting back and watching them have fun in something he knows damn well I can't do.

Am I the asshole here?
