I (40 f) live in a beach town and recently my sister (45) and her husband (47) came to the city I live in and stayed a few nights, but didn't tell me about their trip until after they were back home.

I happened to have called my sister several times while she was in my city and she did not answer and did not return my calls. After she told me about their stay in my city, I questioned her about this she told me that they had put their phones on silent and were only answering calls/texts from their daughter whom they left at home.

Clearly they didn't want me to know that they were here, and this is not the first time they've done this. I visit the town they live in (which is 2 hours away) a few times a year to see them and other family members.

I'm mad and I want to tell my sister it what she did was rude. AITA for expecting my sister to let me know she's visiting, even if she has no plans to see me?
