for context, when i (22f) got with my boyfriend (25m) he told me he had female friends as apparently he’s had issues in the past. i have no issue with this and told him at the time i don’t care as long as they don’t have a sexual past. i.e haven’t sent nudes to each other because i have trauma from a past relationship

he assured me none of his female friends, including those he sends streaks to on snapchat have never done such a thing and they are just his mates.

a couple months in we had a little blip over a misunderstanding and a miscommunication and i asked him to promise me that the women he has streaks with/friends with is and has been purely platonic. he assured me and promised me that nothing sexual has ever happened.

8 months later i find out one of the girls he snaps and has a streak with used to send him nudes and he used to send them back. it was on and off for two years.

i confronted him and he kept lying about it until he admitted the truth when i threatened to leave our relationship. he has since blocked her and removed her on all his social media and has agreed to show me his snapchat daily. he has also agreed to over communicate and do whatever he can to fix this.

his excuse was that he didn’t tell me because he didn’t want to scare me off and wanted to protect me.

am i overreacting for being pissed af? like i feel so betrayed. i don’t know what to do because i love this man but i can’t trust his promises or anything he says anymore.
