Me (23 m) and my boyfriend (21 m) have a agreed on rule where we take each others messages as a priority and message each other first before others. (For context my boyfriend is a artist) So today was going well and my boyfriend had to leave for a bit so I texted him which it had shown read, then twenty minutes later he had texted a server accepting a drawing. He then called and I was upset asking him why and that he “fucking lied” he then explained he was doing all of this to save up for a present for me and was working hard and even doing half on commissions. I then said “you had good intentions” and “I am sorry I was angry and didn’t let you explain yourself” and “I forgive you”. He is now feeling odd and saying I was not kind, am I the asshole?
