My boyfriend recently got a job as a diesel mechanic and he said he starts at around 6am and works 12 hours. Recently I’ve been calling him at around 8pm but he never picks up or sometimes yells at me and says he’s still at work and I cannot be calling him. I’ve tried to ask him for his specific schedule so I can call when he’s not busy but he just says not to call until he calls me which is never or very late at night when I’m asleep (around 12am). I know that I just shouldn’t call and that I am being somewhat of a nuisance but I also don’t understand why he can’t just put his phone on dnd or silence my calls if it’s causing him such trouble. I also don’t understand why he can’t give me his schedule so I know when not to call. Because he can just put his phone on silent it just seems like he’s looking for an excuse to get upset at me but idk. He’s also yelled at me saying I’m stupid for not being able to figure out his hours but I don’t understand what I’m missing? If he works 12 hours and starts at 6am, he should be done at around 7pm including a lunch break. Am I just being super needy and anxious?
