On most days after getting off work, I drive to the gym which is 30 min away. Then my home is 15 minutes away in the same direction (work, gym, home all in straight line). So the only realistic place for me to change into my gym clothes is right before getting off work. Can’t go home cause that would add extra 30 min. And would prefer to not do it at work because I don’t wanna wear work clothes for 30 min while going to the gym. Plus being in my work clothes and playing rock and roll in the car on the way to the gym pumps me up.

One of my co-workers started saying I’m an AH for doing that because I’m “showing off”. I’m by no means super shredded. But typically people generally do assume that I am a gym goer.

Is it unprofessional or rude to change into gym clothes at work?
