So last year me and my ex split up and are going through a custody dispute. I asked my mother (who lives 2 hrs away) if she came around my area to come and see me or say what’s up I’m in town. Instead she goes over to my exs house and stays for a while and picks up my 3 year old child. Who I have not been able to see due to my ex not allowing me to see her (reason for court). So without telling me and knowing I am not able to see my child doesn’t stop by or say anything. I confront her about it and she says she didn’t think anything of it and am blowing it out of proportion. I then ask her if she would go to court as a character witness for me as a good father and she refuses saying she’s on noones side but the child’s. I say ok maybe I am blowing it out of proportion. Then she proceeds to show up to court for my ex so again I confront her about it and she says she was just doing it so she doesn’t lose the chance to see my daughter. I ask her what about me (as I haven’t seen my child for months) and she says that’s not her problem. So in turn I told her if that’s the case and I win the custody battle and or have the right of first refusal would never let her see my daughter again. At that point I blocked her and do not want any contact with her. Am I the asshole for that?
