my roommates and i moved to los angeles about a month ago and me (21F) and roommate B (22F) both got slightly bigger rooms than roommate C (22F). we agreed that roommate B and i would pay about 200$ more each per month since our rooms were larger. roommate C decided today that we should be paying even more in rent and roommate B and I think it’s unfair to switch things up after we already agreed on the price.

in addition to this, she made us pay for a third of a our third party guarantor cost when both of us were originally planning to use our parents, which would be free. this cost came out to around $680 per person. she also was the one who decided the original rent prices when we initially signed the lease. she also venmo requested us for shared items (like a shelf for the bathroom, extra storage containers, etc.) that neither me or roommate B knew we were getting. roommate C has a lot more things than us, so she likely needed the storage, but we did not.
