📝 AITA for driving over my girlfriend’s foot?

Me (20M) and my girlfriend (20F) got into an argument. Started when I tried leaving the house without telling her where I was going (we use Life360 so she has my location at all times regardless). I ended up shutting down verbally, which is something I do often with her because she frequently overwhelms me and rarely gives me personal space even though we’ve discussed it at length before a couple times.

That basically ended up with her closing the door to our room on me preventing me from leaving, pushing me away from the door, grabbing me, getting physical, etc. Eventually I managed to slip past without putting my hands on her and I went to start my car in the garage and sat there for a bit with the doors locked warming my car up for a few seconds. I was about to reverse out of the driveway until she ran out as well and tried to get in my car and screaming at me again.

She then proceeded to stand directly behind my car for a few minutes before shuffling to the driver side where she kept yelling at me even in front of neighbors. I did not roll down my windows or say a word, but I did send her multiple text messages to get away from my car before I called the police and we went back and forth for a bit before I shifted my car into reverse and began slowly backing up and ended up driving over her foot (I did not see where her lower half was positioned at all).

Cops ended up coming and I almost got arrested if not for my dashcam footage recording the whole incident so we both ended up just getting a stern talking and told to separate. She’s trying to gaslight me and telling other people I did it intentionally but I didn’t.

I also told her I was making this post to get unbiased opinions because she won’t listen to me and I don’t think I did anything wrong by trying to disengage, AITA?
