I’ll try to make this brief, on a frat formal trip we rented out pontoon boats for the day. Since there’s lots of people and only two 12 passenger boats, we had three timeslots per boat, switching off every 3 hours. Our group was the second group to go out, so we were waiting on the beach for our boat to come pick us up, 20 minutes go by, then 30, then an hour. All this time we’re waiting for our boat we didn’t hear anything from group 1, just kept telling us they’re otw. They ended up going back to this dock, so one of the guys in our group go drive to pick it up, group 1 refuses to get off the boat, and our guy just goes back out with them. We’re still on the beach, at this point it’s over 2 hours from when they were supposed to be back and the other boat from our same time slot comes back so we get on their boat. Long story short, group 1 took the boat all day and people that paid for their spot on the boat didn’t get to go or had a very limited time. Now everyone is mad at group 1 and they think it’s funny and that we’re all overreacting. Is this a valid thing to be upset about?
