Not as serious as some other posts on here and I’ve never done one of these before but I genuinely need another opinion. I am an administrator on a Minecraft server I share with my friends, not the owner (I might have to involve her though). One of our friends added a new member to the server without anyone’s permission, which ultimately wasn’t the problem though it did bother me and another member of the server a bit, since we literally don’t know this person. The problem arose when this new person started building a house, a sort of tunnel system, that goes under my other friend’s house. They haven’t been able to get on the server for a while so I understand why they might’ve thought they could build there. Aside from the random weird comments on my builds and how they look (I still don’t know this person?), I asked this friend if they were notified before the new person built under their house and they said no and obviously got upset so, as an administrator, I tried to talk to the person who added the new guy and the new guy themself to not continue building under the house not that they needed to destroy what they built, but to stop. They started getting defensive and saying the house isn’t that big and the friend doesn’t even get on and play. I told them that wasn’t the issue nor their concern but they kept arguing with me, and idk all I wanted was for them to acknowledge that they built there and that they wouldn’t do it again in the future. Surprise surprise, they kept arguing. I’m going to call them to talk this through but Idk I just felt this was necessary. AITA? What should I do if they still don’t understand?
