📝 AITA for getting pissed at my “friend” for breaking my laptop on purpose.

I'm in high school and I've known my friend for about 3 years now. Recently I've had a surgery for my knee and have to use crutches, meaning my friends have to carry my stuff so I can walk.

Now today, I let my friend carry my stuff (let's call her Cole). So, I sometimes do some cringe thins when walking from class and in breaks and today was no different. I did a cringe thing and Cole just stared at me and dropped my stuff on the floor, including my laptop.

It's not a MacBook or anything but it was still expensive and my parents bought it for me an trusted me with it. I didn't expect Cole to actually drop my school laptop on the floor considering she is my friend.

I instantly stared at it and my heart sank. I said "why would you do that? It's probably broken" and she just replied "no it isn't" and didn't seem to care one bit. When I got into class I checked and sure enough, it was broken.

I didn't really have it in me to talk to her or let her copy my work which Cole always does and just stayed silent, trying to find a way I could tell my parents my laptop was broken when I got home.

Anyways, at the end of the day she got mad at me for ignoring her and said if "wasn't a big deal" our friend group all said I was being a bit harsh.

So, AITA?

(P.S, I still haven't told my dad.)
