AITA for having my wedding on Father’s Day weekend and putting my brother in the wedding to babysit my dog the entire day. I 30 f am getting married and want to have my wedding at this one venue but the only date available that works for us is Father’s Day weekend. I am inviting my brother 33m and his girlfriend 32f but my brother is actually In my wedding essentially babysitting my dog the entire time. They have 4 kids and I have decided to make it a child free wedding. I don’t know who would watch their kids but I don’t feel like that’s my problem. My brother was taken aback when I told him my dog was the ring barer not my god son (his son). He told me they have no one to babysit since it’s Father’s Day weekend so his girlfriend won’t be attending which I’m fine with I just want him there to take care of my dog. So am I the asshole for this? I feel like if she wanted to come to my wedding so bad she would try harder to find an overnight babysitter.
