I went on a work trip for a month and I was missing my son(2) and husband so badly. I arrived home and my parents and siblings were also there.

I went to my husband and hugged him for a few minutes, then I went to hug my son and say hi to everyone else.

My parents didn't look happy. My mom told me I'm a terrible mom for ignoring my son for 10 minutes (she was exaggerating) while I hugged my husband. She said you husband is an adult. Couldn't he wait?

I said yeah but I couldn't. I missed him. I hugged my son too. I don't see why this is such a big deal.
