📝 AITA for joking with my friend about her only wanting to hang out with me if she didn’t have any other plans?

My friend and I have known one another for a little over two years, and are pretty close. But over the past couple of months things have gotten pretty distant between us because of life. This past week has been the worst though, where she’s been awake when I’m asleep and we haven’t really talked much at all in the past 9 days besides a good morning/goodnight here and there. Anyways, she woke up early today “to talk to me” and we were having good conversation, but it all went downhill when we started to make plans to watch a movie this weekend.

Me: what day are you thinking? Her: maybe sunday? it's supposed to be 81 degrees so i'm not gonna be doing anything Me: oh, are you doing something saturday? Her: i'm not sure yet, that's why i'm kinda leaning towards sunday because i don't want to say saturday and then i can't, you know? Me: i guess i’ll just be your last resort 💁‍♀️ Her: my last resort for what 😐 Me: “i’ll watch a movie with you if i have nothing better to do” Her: that’s not how it is Me: uh huhhh Her: it's not 😩 you're a priority for me Me: mhmmmm Her: no 😔 i got up today because i wanted to talk to you. i missed you Me: oh yeah? Her: yeah Me: awww

This is where the conversation ends and she left me on read.

Honestly, I figured with how long she’s known me she would have known that I was just playing around. But now I’m being left on read, even though she knows being left on read is one of my biggest triggers.

I’ve talked to some other friends about it and they all keep bringing up her original comment and how it seems like she very much was saying, “if I don’t have anything better to do we can chill” which makes the whole thing even more confusing. Am I the asshole? Some insight would be great.
