My f23 partner showed me (m23) a TikTok of a lady “explaining in the best way possible” how it feels when your significant other has done something to upset them. The video goes on to say how they aren’t attacking or wanting to argue they just want you to listen to them. I then said “but maybe it’s the way your attitude that makes it come off as an attack?” She then said “see you’re already taking it as an attack”. I went on to say that I’m just wanting a discussion not trying to argue. One part of me thinks I’m not in the wrong but another part of me thinks i am for what I then said. “well… a lot of women are having the same issue maybe there’s a pattern?”

She lost it and now won’t speak to me, she said she doesn’t recognise me and is even trying to see what she saw in me in the first place. I’m trying to explain to her that I feel like ive not got my point clear enough and this is sounding worse than I ment. I’m currently trying to figure out if I should join her in bed but might be for the best if I sleep on the sofa? But I’m not sure, AITA?
