📝 AITA for not being an easy nail customer?

I (17F) made an appointment at a nail salon to get my nails done for my Junior Prom. I made an appointment for Gel X. When I got to my appointment i started talking to the nail tech, I had several inspo pictures of different sets I liked and showed them all to him. He said that he wouldn't be able to any of them because they had 3D designs, so while I got my pedicure I found a simplified version of the nails I wanted without any 3D design. Then after my pedicure I showed him the photo and he had a conversation with another nail tech (in Chinese I believe) and sent me to get my nails done by the other tech who brought out plastic nails for the gel x. I might have annoyed the 2nd nail tech by saying I didn't like a few of the shapes and he finally brought out the shape I wanted and I asked if they could be filed down a little shorter and he said no. I said it was okay and he started to fit the nails to my nails. My thumbs are a bit wide so the plastic nail had a little bit of my real nail on both sides and he asked if that was okay. I asked if he would just put gel over the part of the nail that wasn't covered and he didn't really answer and just said there would be a line showing. I said that was fine and he started to use the drill on my nails, the pinky started to bleed a little in the corner but I didn't say anything about it. When he glued the plastic nail on, the gel wasn't just on my nail, it was also on the tip of my finger on the skin above my natural nail and I mentioned it to him and he said "I'm not going to do your nails" and I said "What?" and he said "I don't want to do your nails" and proceeded to drill the plastic nail off and send me to pay for my pedicure. I'm kind of confused about the whole situation, my sister was next to me the whole time and she was also bewildered. I don't really have an option to get my nails done elsewhere as all the salons around me were closing soon and my prom is in two days. I was not rude at all or insistent on anything, I was just concerned when gel got on my skin because I was told that could cause contact dermititis (I'm finding out I was wrong about that now). AITA for making things difficult for the nail tech?
