My partner wants me to do chores immediately, like clearing the entire table immediately after hosting a group of visitors, cleaning everything. He does help, but he doesn’t understand that I am sometimes tired, and some small things like putting away dishes from the dishwasher can be done the next morning (imo).

He also judges me when i forget to close doors, and immediately rushes after me to close it when he sees that i forget. He constantly checks if i turned off the lights after i leave a room, or our backyard. He also gets upset if I don’t immediately vacuum my hair off the floor after shower.

I’m going crazy with this behaviour. Yes, sometimes I forget things but it’s like 2% of the time. I’m not that careless or forgetful. During normal times, I am ok with this. However, I would expect him to be more relaxed with these chores if i’m tired or sick - yet he never does.
